Mark Rosati, an LA-based screenwriter, draws his storytelling inspiration from the vibrant world of food and hospitality, honed by 20+ years as a leading restaurant imdustry professional.

As Culinary Director of Shake Shack, he played a pivotal role in transforming the brand from a humble single park stand in NYC into a global powerhouse with 550+ locations. His 17 year culinary journey has taken him across the U.S., the Middle East, Europe, and Asia, shaping the brand's distinctive culinary. From Michelin-starred kitchens to lively fast-casual joints, Mark's diverse experience continues to fuel and inform his creative work.
A screenwriter with a background from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, he crafts hard comedies and darkly funny dramas that explore themes of family, legacy, and redemption through messy yet passionate protagonists. He is also the co-author of Shake Shack: Recipes & Stories, the brand's origin story, published by Clarkson Potter.
